Rail Road Diner in Richland

We ate at the Railroad Diner for the first time last evening!! The food was delicious... my husband thought the liver and onions was the best he's ever had!! We experienced prompt service from friendly staff... prices are very good... great little diner!! We will be back!!!

Small little place. Was very crowded on a Saturday AM for breakfast. Service was good. Food was good. Staff was friendly.

The coffee was good and prentation of meal with cute mason drinking jars and fries come in a cute basket. Good food and atmosphere.

Great breakfast all-day options. The food was perfect, juicy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, crunchy hash brown, golden french toast and the french vanilla cappuccino was good too. The place was clean including the bathroom and the server was pleasant.

A fine little small town restaurant with an excellent atmosphere and super friendly staff and as a bonus the food is tasty

This is a good local diner. Food was good and staff were exceptional. We had chicken parm. (Not on the menu, but the were happy to accommodate. ) We also had Smoky Mountain Chicken. Both were good. The sausage tortellini soup was very good. We did see a train go by while we were there. Family friendly, counter available. Staff was friendly (Thanks Heather) and attentive. Restroom clean. Off street parking. Weekly specials.

Met friends here for breakfast in mid-November 2019. We had never been here before, but had been wanting to try it. We were very pleased with the breakfast menu options and the great service. Our server was friendly and attentive, and kept our coffee cups filled. One friend always orders Eggs Benedict at every place we meet for breakfast. He said it was excellent. It looked to be a hearty size portion. Another ordered a pancake and egg special that he enjoyed and was more than he could eat. I ordered the "Train Wreck" and was very pleased with the combination of ingredients, much like an everything's in it omelet. Overall, we had a great meal and will be back again.

Food was fresh, delicious, and with good portions. I had the veggie skillet. Definitely a keeper. Thought it has eggs in it, I would add an egg over easy on top. It's made with an egg on the bottom of the skillet but its a flat, somewhat dry egg (sort of like a "crust" for the dish.)

I’ve enjoyed both takeout and dine in experiences. Both times the food was fresh and hot. The service is friendly and the place is a favorite of the locals. The restaurant is situated right by the train tracks the run through Richland so you will most likely get to witness a few trains passing through. Definitely a must see if you’re a train enthusiast.

I was just passing through the area around mid day and came across this Wonder find. Food quality is top notch diner fare. Fresh vegetables, good selection of comfort foods and home made desserts. If I lived anywhere close to this diner I would definately become a regular customer.

This place is a tiny diner by the tracks in Richland. The food was pretty good, though I've had better for a diner and the price. Service was super fast though and friendly. Portions are also not gigantic like most diners.

Great breakfast, very filling. Service was excellent, our waitress Tonya did an exceptional job. Definitely will go back again.

A great diner right next to the railroad tracks....thus the fitting name. I have gotten numerous different items here and enjoyed them all. I have experienced good service here and I must say to that they have good prices as well.

The Railroad Diner is small, quaint and food is GREAT!!! I'm a huge food critic...A MUST GO kinda place. Off the beaten path...we just moved here an we will be eating here A LOT!!!! HOMEMADE CAKES!!!! PRICES ARE TERRIFIC!!!The owner is great!! He's active in tasks!!

Great atmosphere and value! Prices were very reasonable and the service was fast and friendly even though nearly every table was full. The scrambled eggs are hand cracked, not from a pre-packaged box. Only dislike was the sliced hash browns, which were hardly fried and tasted more like sliced boiled potatoes than a hash brown.

They have amazing food, and great atmosphere. Will go there any chance I get!

This is such a cool little place. I hesitate to even put a review, only cuz I don't want the word to get out. But they are definitely deserving of five stars.

Lovely little diner in the village of Richland. Decor is peaceful and attractive. Wait staff was courteous and efficient, even though she was very busy! Food was nicely presented and was delicious. Would highly recommend a visit to this diner for good food and a homey atmosphere.

Hands down one of the best places around to go for breakfast! Cant beat their breakfast skillets!
